1. Who we are

Formify is a service that converts paper forms, PDFs, DOCX files, and handwritten forms into Google Forms. We operate at getformify.com.

2. What we collect

• Account information: when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture.
• Uploaded files: documents you upload are processed in memory and immediately discarded. We do not store your uploaded documents anywhere.
• Conversion data: form titles, dates, and Google Form URLs of forms you have created.
• Payment information: handled entirely by DodoPayments. We do not store card details.
• Usage data: basic logs for security and debugging.

3. How we use your data

• To convert your uploaded documents using Google AI (Gemini) for text extraction and parsing.
• To create Google Forms in your Google account on your behalf.
• To manage your credit balance and conversion history.
• To process payments and send receipts.
• To improve our service and fix errors.

4. Google user data

We access your Google account solely to create Google Forms on your behalf. We use the forms.body scope exclusively as a write-only endpoint to create forms. We do not read, access, or store any existing Google Forms or other Google data. We do not share your Google data with any third parties.

Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

• Google AI (Gemini): to process uploaded documents for text extraction. Documents are processed and not retained.
• DodoPayments: to process credit purchases.
• Google Forms API: to create forms in your account.

6. Data retention

We retain only your account information and conversion metadata (form titles, URLs, dates) for as long as your account is active. Uploaded documents are never stored — they are processed in memory and discarded immediately. You can request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us.

7. Security

We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Uploaded documents are processed entirely in memory and never written to disk or stored in any database. Account data is stored in a secure cloud database.

8. Your rights

9. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
